2023 年9 月に横浜赤レンガ倉庫1 号館で上演された、平山素子× 笠井叡『「フーガの技法」を踊る』。今回は、平山× 笠井の圧倒的なダンス、ジャズ・ピアニスト佐藤浩一演奏によるバッハ作曲「フーガの技法」をDolby Atmos®で再現したダンスフィルムとして上映します。臨場感あふれる極上のサウンドで体感するプレミアム上映に加え、第二部では、愛知公演で重厚な響きを聴かせたピアニストの片山柊を迎え、ダンスとピアノによるスペシャル・ステージ＆トークを開催。 映画館のようにドリンクを片手に、劇場さながらのイマーシブな映像体験、ライブパフォーマンスが一度に楽しめる一日限りのスペシャルイベントをお届けします。

笠井 叡
1943 年生まれ。60 年代に大野一雄、土方巽に出会い、舞踏家として活動を始め る。71 年天使館を設立。79 年～85 年ドイツに留学し、オイリュトミーを研究。 帰国後、94 年に『セラフィータ』で舞台に復帰。これまでに、「牢獄天使城でカ リオストロが見た夢」「桜の樹の下には – 笠井叡を踊る-」「高丘親王航海記」な ど多くの作品を輩出し続け、2001 年初演『花粉革命』は代表作として世界各都 市での上演を果たす。14 年芸術選奨文部科学大臣賞受賞、22 年江口隆哉賞受賞。
平山素子
静謐さと昂揚を自在に奏でるダンサーとして観客の熱い支持を集め、06 年S. ザ ハロワ（ボリショイ劇場バレエ団）に『Revelation』を提供し振付家として頭角 を現す。07 年新国立劇場『LIfe Casting』で朝日舞台芸術賞、08 年『春の祭典』 で芸術選奨文部科学大臣新人賞、江口隆哉賞受賞。16 年スペイン・バスク地方 やアイヌ伝承音楽とのコラボレーション作品『HYBRID』では大規模な欧州ツアー を成功させた。筑波大学体育系准教授。
片山 柊( ピアノ)
北海道札幌市出身。東京音楽大学でピアノ、桐朋学園大学で作曲を学び、ピアニストとして第41回ピティナピアノコンペティション特級グランプリおよび聴衆賞ほか受賞多数。作曲家としては第28回奏楽堂日本歌曲コンクール作曲部門第1位(2位なし・史上初)ほか受賞。楽譜はカワイ出版より刊行されている。現在桐朋学園大学作曲科非常勤講師、東京音楽大学伴奏助手。
佐藤浩一 ［映像のみ出演］
ピアニスト／作曲家／編曲家。ジャズ／ポストクラシカル／ポップス／映画音楽など幅広いフィールドで活動するピアニスト。 全て自らの作曲による2枚組のアルバム『Embryo』(2021年)をnagaluからリリース。 映画「ラーゲリより愛を込めて」(2022年)、TVアニメ「青のオーケストラ」(2023年)の劇中音楽のピアノ演奏を担当。 伊藤ゴロー、福盛進也、挾間美帆m_unit、原田知世、象眠舎のピアニストを務める。

Live film, talk & performance Motoko Hirayama × Akira Kasai, Dance by “The Art of Fugue”
Motoko Hirayama x Akira Kasai, Dance by “The Art of Fugue”, was performed at Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse No.1 in September 2023.
This time, the overwhelming dance of Hirayama x Kasai and the Bach composition The Art of Fugue, performed by pianist Koichi Sato, will be screened as a dance film reproduced in Dolby Atmos®. In addition to the premium screening experienced with superb, realistic sound, a special dance and piano stage and talk session will be held in the second part, featuring pianist Shu Katayama, whose profound resonance is heard at the Aichi performance.
We’ll present you with a One-day-only special event where you can enjoy a theatre-like immersive visual experience and live performances all in one place, with a drink in hand, just like at the cinema.

ABOUT Dance by “The Art of Fugue”
Produced by NPO alfalfa
Choreographer Kasai Akira and dancer Hirayama Motoko’s solo piece “Dance from J.S. Bach’s ‘The Art of the Fugue’ Nos. 1, 2, 6, and 9”, originally presented at Area 50s in Dance Dance Dance @YOKOHAMA 2021, is revived in an enhanced version. Accompanied by the young pianists Katayama Shu (Aichi performance) and Sato Koichi (Yokohama performance), whose activity extends from classic to jazz and pop, the team takes on Bach’s masterpiece “The Art of the Fugue” in dance and music, performing 14 sequences in a 60-minute show.

NPO alfalfa
The management group alfalfa was established in 2006 by a number of young art managers. The group began supporting the activities of dancer/choreographer Hirayama Motoko the following year. It became an NPO in 2009. It aims to bring superior art to society in cooperation with artists and art-related NPOs engaged in high-quality creative projects, local cultural facilities, and area residents.
Through a loose network of art managers from the same generation, alfalfa has built a flexible and open system in order to promote the continuity of art management and train the next generation of art managers.
